From Concept to the Classroom: Summer Seminar on College Teaching Certificate Series

The Teaching Resources Center is offering a six-part workshop series to help current and future Associate-Instructors design, plan, and teach their own courses. Teaching assistants, AIs, and postdocs are all invited to participate. These workshops will focus on some of the most important, and often the most difficult, aspects of planning and teaching a class. We will discuss the basics of teaching, like creating a syllabus and crafting writing assignments, but also delve into more advanced topics like creating an active learning environment in the classroom and using technology effectively.
