International TAs

The TRC offers several services to TAs (and, in some cases, faculty) coming to UC Davis from other countries:

The TA Orientation: The TA Orientation has one session developed specifically to address the needs of International TAs, and many of the other sessions are crucial to helping International TAs understand the culture and expectations of American higher education.

ESL & SPEAK test: This test is used as one measure of the comprehensibility, fluency, grammar, and pronunciation skills of a non-native speaker’s oral English. More ….
