Teaching Resources Center 752-6050 17 Wellman Workshops, institutes, evaluation programs, and grants for enhancing teaching. Provides mid-quarter teaching evaluation, seminars and workshops, instructional technology training, and scantron test scoring.

Writing in the Disciplines 752-2257 Help in integrating writing into your course and commenting more effectively on student writing, grading consistently, designing effective writing assignments, using writing exercises to spark class discussion, and coaching writing in comments and office hours. Individual consultation is available.

UC Davis Library 752-6561/752-1203 Tours, lectures, and demonstrations to classes with library research projects; regularly scheduled classes on the use of on-line catalog and databases, and on the effective use of the Internet.

Student Judicial Affairs 752-1128 3200 Dutton Hall Do's and don'ts of academic and social conduct; how to report cheating or other misconduct, and information about the rights and responsibilities of UC Davis students.

Women's Resources & Research Center 752-3372 North Hall   Lectures, workshops, exhibits, and forums along with discussion and support groups and skill-building classes. Large, specialized library collection focusing on women and gender -- for research, class assignments and personal reading.
Assistance for Students
 

First Resort 752-2807 Lobby, First Floor, South Hall 9am-4pm (Mon-Fri) drop-in during the academic year. Academic peer advising and referral center for undergrads seeking assistance regarding course registration, SISWEB, exploring majors, selecting courses and fulfilling requirements.

Learning Skills Center  752-2013 2205 Dutton Hall 7:50 am - 5 pm (Mon-Fri) Individual assistance and non-credit group workshops to improve reading, writing, mathematics, science or study skills, or skills in English as a second language. Group and drop-in tutoring and autotutorial instructional materials, small lending library and exam file.

Language Learning Center 752-0487, Olson (basement) Support for student and faculty language and technology endeavors including courseware creation. Classroom, lab, and multi-purpose spaces, workshops on technology and computerized placement examinations, specialized check-out materials. Hosts conferences and cultural activities

Student Disability Center 752-3184, TTY 752-6833 160 South Silo Services for students with disabilities who are eligible for reasonable accommodation under state and federal law.  Students requiring accommodations will provide a letter of verification from the SDC.  Students asserting disability and requesting accommodation without such a letter should be referred to the SDC for a determination of eligibility.
