Orientation for New Teaching Assistants - All new TAs (including experienced TAs new to the Davis campus) are required by the Office of Graduate Studies to participate in UCD's campus-wide program.

Seminar on College Teaching
For TAs. Interactive sessions cover learning goals and objectives, lesson plans, communication strategies, learning assessment, course management, and student diversity. This course is offered in a variety of formats, including on-campus weekly seminars, on-campus weekend retreats, and retreats at Bodega Marine Laboratory. One unit of credit is available for EDU 398.

The Chancellor's Teaching Fellowship Program - apprenticeships for graduate students who have demonstrated promise as future post-secondary educators.
