Tuberous Stems

Thickened, tuberous growth produced by enlargement of hypocotyl section of the seedling plant. May include epicotyl and upper section of primary root. Continues to enlarge; perennial growth. Example: Tuberous begonia

Methods of propagation

1. Division - Cut into sections. Each section must have a bud.
2. Leafy cuttings - Use stem, leaf, or leaf-bud cuttings.
