Note the "C" shaped hyaline cartilage ring of the trachea. The epithelium is PSEUDOSTRATIFIED COLUMNAR with GOBLET (MUCOUS) CELLS (identify CILIATED CELLS). The luminal surface of the trachea is covered by a mucous blanket that functions as a mucociliary escalator. It carries deposited particles and liquid from the deep conducting airways.
