Parabronchi Atria Air capillaries Blood capillary

| The PARABRONCHI are analogous to the alveolar ducts of mammals. Air vesicles, called ATRIA, project radially from the parabronchi. These atria give rise to air capillaries. Trace these passages on the scanning electron micrographs. On the high magnification view, note the blood capillary with the red blood cells inside, and the air capillary. |
