Responsibilities of Instructors using the TRC server,
UC Davis
- Create and edit their own Webpage files and place them on the Server by FTP (contacts listed below, for assistance).
- Read list of sources of assistance and the copyright information posted on the website from which this came.
- Answer their students' questions about using the course website and/or refer them to appropriate resources such as IT-Express or resource sites and auto-tutorial courses on the Web. [The TRC Webmasters and the Teaching Resources Center welcome questions from instructor-clients, but are not appropriate resources for students.]
- Always retain a current backup copy of their site(s).
- Respond in a timely manner to inquiries about when course material should or may be removed.
- Agree to abide by policies of the TRC Server Advisory Committee and the UC Davis campus.
